Hey There
— I’m Ethan, the guy behind West Mountain Plumbing. I’ve been working in plumbing for years, and I started this business with one simple goal: to offer honest, reliable help to homeowners and small businesses who just want the job done right — without the stress.
I believe in showing up on time, explaining things in plain English, and leaving your space cleaner than I found it. No upsells, no pressure — just straightforward plumbing you can feel good about.
Whether it’s fixing a leak, upgrading a water heater, or doing a full repipe, I’m here to make it as smooth and simple as possible.
Thanks for stopping by — I’d be glad to help with your next project.

My Story
I started my plumbing apprenticeship back in 2012, while serving in the National Guard — a career that lasted 11 years until I transitioned out in 2022. The military taught me discipline, accountability, and the importance of doing things right the first time — values I carry into every plumbing job I take on. Over the years, I’ve worked my way up through the trade — from apprentice to journeyman, then into leadership roles as a foreman, trade supervisor, and project manager. I also taught first-year apprentices for the state of Oregon, helping new plumbers build a strong foundation just like others did for me. Plumbing became more than a job — it became a way to serve people with skill, honesty, and care. After gaining experience with larger companies, I decided it was time to build something of my own. That’s how West Mountain Plumbing was born — a family-run business focused on dependable service, clear communication, and quality work done with pride. Originally from Montana, my wife and I moved to Oregon to plant roots and raise our family. We’ve been married for 13 years and have three amazing kids who keep life full of laughs and perspective. These days, I’m proud to offer straightforward plumbing services that make things easier for homeowners and businesses. Whether it’s a quick repair or a system repipe, I show up, do it right, and stand behind the work.
